WHY MUSE?
MUSE will be dedicated to a combination of many different aspects: attention will be paid to local issues, environmental studies and the conservation of the territory's identity, but also to activities to encourage public awareness and to wider ranging issues such as environmental care and sustainable development. The alpine naturalistic heritage will act as starting point and will be linked to general scientific topics and to global environmental issues.
Nature, science and society are the three key terms around which the activity will rotate, and MUSE will act as a hub to promote interaction and dialogue between experts and the public of any age.
The main aims of MUSE:
- present the natural world as seen through the “eyes of science”
- evaluate methods and technological solutions to promote a sustainable development of society.
- explore the relationship between nature, science and society
- encourage people to consider the impact of scientific development on society and on everyday life.
